PATTERN & ATELIER INTERN (m/w/d), 032c READYTOWEAR

As an intern in the Atelier and Pattern department at 032c Readytowear you will
work closely together with our dedicated creative pattern makers and designers,
assisting them in their day-to-day needs.


For this internship position we need you to be available for a minimum of 6 months.
The internship is expected to start in May 2026.

Please note: This is not a designer position.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assist the pattern and atelier team with the day-to-day needs.
  • Support sample machinist and pattern cutter with: cutting samples, sewing
    toiles and mock ups, looking after the atelier’s organisation.
  • Communicate and work closely with the different departments as well as local
    ateliers.
  • Sourcing of local fabrics and trims in Berlin for in-house developments.
  • Assisting pattern makers during product fittings, work on alterations on
    patterns as well as first pattern developments
  • Digitising patterns, and finalising shapes on CLO3d.
  • Using CLO3D and Gerber Accumark daily, to simulate visual ideas quickly.
  • Support with stitching toiles, test fabrics & interlinings, make stitch trials,
    prepare finishing mock ups, stitch final prototypes for fittings.

About you:

  • A student/graduate in pattern making or fashion design education.
  • Strong technical knowledge and interest in pattern making and garment
    finishings is essential.
  • Autonomous and able to take initiative when required.
  • Confident in using industrial machinery such as sewing machine, overlocker,
    and industrial iron.
  • Knowledge of any digital pattern cutting software is a plus.
  • Problem solving attitude, attentive and passionate in assisting the
    development of the collection and/or extra curricular projects with a keen eye
    for detail.
  • Strong team player with a positive energy towards the work and in collaborating with others.
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English. Other languages are also welcome.
